Why I’m Hypothetically Happy

Hypothetically happy sounds a little dramatic, but the name of this blog is born out of the effects of thyroid cancer on my body and life.  I was diagnosed in 2015, when my daughter was six months old. Being a new mom was tough for me, being a new mom that was diagnosed with a form of cancer that would affect nearly every aspect of my life for the rest of my life was daunting to say the least. Even though I’m “hypothyroid” (that’s the clinical term for someone without a functioning thyroid) I’m also happy, healthy, and embrace life.

This blog is meant to be a place to share stories about my life with you!
